Patent and Utility model filing and prosecution

 

Our services in this field include filing and prosecuting national Hungarian patent and utility model applications, entering PCT applications into their Hungarian national phases, filing and prosecuting European patent applications, providing provisional protection for European patent applications in Hungary, validating granted European patents, representing clients in opposition and nullity proceedings in the listed types of cases and providing payment of maintenance fees for all these rights. We also file new PCT applications and serve as a centre office for providing patent protection of inventions world wide by using professional associates where our direct representation is not possible.

This service includes the following activities:

• preparing new patent applications for filing them either in Hungary or in the EPO or as new PCT applications;

• filing applications prepared either by ourselves or by any other party for filing them in Hungary (both as direct applications and as PCT national phase filings), with the EPO or as a PCT application;

• representing and prosecuting European Patent Applications, Hungarian Patent Applications or International Patent Applications

• validating granted European Patents in Hungary;

• acting as a central agent for filing patent applications in all countries where the applicant decides to seek patent protection (only highly competent foreign associates may co-operate with us)

• Providing provisional protection in Hungary for European Patent Applications;

• Carrying out all listed activities concerning utility models, including conversion of patent applications to utility model applications.
