Revocation

A patent is revoked with retroactive effect to its filing date if its subject matter does not satisfy the requirements of patentability, the description of the invention is insufficient to enable the practicing of the invention, the scope of the claims is broader than the scope supported by the first disclosure, or the patent was granted to a person other than the person legally entitled.

Where the conditions of revocation exist only partially, the scope of claims is limited accordingly.
