Unsuccessful attempt to participate in the reputation of mark PANNÓNIA

The Hungarian mark PANNÓNIA used for cheese is well-known, an opinion poll made a few years ago resulted that it is known by 77 p.c. of the Hungarian population.
This was probably the motivation of a competitor, called Tolle, to file a device mark with the word element TOLLE-PANNÓNIA, also for cheese.
Despite the opposition filed by the owner of the mark PANNÓNIA the sign was registered.

Changes in the fees of the EPO


I. Search fee

For European applications and European regional phase of international applications with a filing date on or after 1 July 2005, the search fee amounts as follows:

1. Search fee for European applications:

1.000,- EUR

2. Search fee for euro-PCT-applications:

a) without supplementary European search report, if ISA = EPO:

0,- EUR

b) with supplementary European search report, if ISA = AT, ES, FI, SE:

155,- EUR

c) with supplementary European search report, if ISA = AU, CN, JP, KR, RU, US:

810,- EUR

d) with supplementary European search report, if ISA = CA:

1.000,- EUR

II. Examination fee

For European applications and European regional phase of international applications with a filing date on or after 1 July 2005, the examination fee amounts as follows:

1. Examination fee for European applications:

1.335,- EUR

2. Examination fee for euro-PCT-applications:

a) without supplementary European search report:

1.490,- EUR

b) with supplementary European search report:

1.335,- EUR
